New Videos!

Please view these at your pleasure...

The first is a funny video that classically depicts how Indian parents are so different than others, and consequently how I am so crazy.

The second is a self-made movie entitled "Thashum (Angry) Uncle". My groomsmen and I made this video and played it at my wedding. It needs no explanation. Enjoy!

Winter Wonderland

It snowed last night!

Yeah, I know, its not the deep luscious snow that some of my cousins are used to up north, but its more than Florida gets!

I didn't even know we were going to get any....but I got a few calls this morning from some of my staff letting me know they wouldn't come in at the normal time because of the weather. As I silently laughed at them for being wusses, I opened the door to our apartment's balcony and saw this:

I took my newly groomed dog- Abby, out for her morning constitutional. Have you ever seen a dog pee in the snow? She stands on her tippy toes, and then goes to town...leaving a bored out hole in the snow... hahaha...

Here are some pictures of Abby in the snow. No, there isn't any "pee-shots".

Also, for all you haters out there who dissaprove of my truck's remote start capabilities...guess how nice it was to get into the cab of my wonderfully warm truck. (See picture taken from my balcony where I was equally as warm and cozy)

The Office

Many of you may not have heard of the NBC Show- "The Office" which plays Thursday Nights at 7:30pm CST.

Here is a brief synopsis taken from Wikipedia:
The Office is an Emmy Award-winning American television comedy that debuted on NBC as a midseason replacement on March 24, 2005. The show is about the day-to-day lives of office employees in the Scranton, Pennsylvania branch of the fictitious Dunder-Mifflin Paper Company. Although fictional and scripted, the show takes the form of a documentary, with the presence of the audience and camera often acknowledged.

My friend Nathan turned me onto the show and I now am a huge fan. From the first time that Nathan begged me to see the show, I have steadily grown to love the American Version which was adapted from Britain's original programming by the same name.

Just as Nathan told me in his three hour power point lecture entitled: "Why the British Office Sucks by Nathan", the American version has superbly taken the show from the Brits and made it a household name.

Anyways, I just wanted you to know about a wonderful program that I am sure you will love and thank me and Nathan later for informing you about it.

Ohh...Nathan just called and wanted me to add that "Ricky Gervaise sucks!"

I am happy to oblige.

What I did for the Holidays...

So I haven't really posted what all I did over the holidays therefore I figured that I would give you all a little update on what Shane Did For Christmas & New Years.

Christmas: Now as you may know, my wife has a rather random schedule that oftentimes results in different schedules on different days. For Christmas, Sylvia had to work Christmas Eve morning and Christmas Day evening...

Now our parents and prospective parents-in-laws get along soo well, that we decided to have Christmas together to accommodate Sylvia's schedule. We ended up meeting at my parents' house in Colleyville and spending time together. We all opened presents together on Christmas Eve after singing some Christmas carols and reading the passage in Luke on Christ's birth.

I got quite a nice haul this year...thanks to my wife and families, who really got me things that they normally don't get me and things they knew I would love! I was really impressed with my brothers and parents gift of a brush guard for my little ATV. It will really come in handy that next time I go over a cliff. We wouldn't want the ATV to get damaged, now would we?

New Years: Sylvia was off for this weekend, and so we got to hang out together and with family. We went house shopping as we may be in the market for a new home...thats a story in itself. But on New Years eve, we ended up visiting with some friends, Sharon & Steve from Austin, who came up to visit their family and go the the Cowboys Game. (Who lost to the DETROIT LIONS...ugh)

Sylvia and I ended up ringing in the New Years with my parents at my old church- India Pentecostal Assembly. It was great to see old friends!

And that...my friends...was the most boring post I've written to date.

It will never happen again.

Mo Money...Mo Problems

When you think of a drug dealer...what do you think of? The words usually conjure up images of big spending gangsters with a penchant for bling and satisfying their wildest dreams.

But some recent research indicates that the cash isn't always flowing in all levels of the organization.

Why selling drugs in a gang is the worst job in America
